Photo dates to 1903.</p>The Noordam first ran a transatlantic route from Rotterdam to New York, primarily delivering immigrants, between 1902 and 1928. Photo shows the famous Lusitania ship while out at sea. The exact date of the original photo is unknown but is between 1907 and 1915. This would make a great addition to anyone's historical collection.<BR><BR>The Lusitania was a British cargo and passenger ship that was torpedoed and sank due to German submarine activity in May of 1915, just shy of ten years after she began her trans-Atlantic journeying.
