Photo shows street scene view of the Boulevard of the Madeline in Paris France. Nice view of old horse drawn wagons riding down the street and the beautiful homes along the road. The original photo dates to the late 1890's. Caption reads: "Paris Boulevard of the Madelinne".
A photochrome(or photochrom) is a color photo lithograph, produced from a black-and-white negative. The final prints were created using different color impressions from multiple lithographic stones. They almost have a hand colored effect to them which makes them very unique considering color photography didn't come around until many years later.
